Boinc Manager: Connection failed

    Hello there,
    I installed Einstein@Home (Boinc) and all went well so far. Boinc did its work all day but when I started up next morning, Boinc manager said "Connaction failed". No work-unit to be seen and no other items in the managers tabs. After some tries I uninstalled Boinc and installed it new, Boinc came up correctly. But next morning....
    Does anybody know how to overcome this problem? By the way, on my other machine Boinc is working just fine without any problems.

      Just exit and restart the manager. Sometimes at startup the different parts get ready at different times. When that happens they can't make a connection between each other.

        Also, if you are using a Mac Version instead of Windows or Linux, it may be necessary to actually restart the computer. No need to delete and reinstall.
