I've been trying to follow the rate of progress on the Server Status page under "BRP5 (Perseus arm) progress." Every time I've looked for the past several days I see that the last update was March 18th.
My question: What is the usual interval between updates to the progress numbers?
The server status page is usually updated every 5 min. It gets the progress data from a separate page, which should be updated once a day. However in case of BRP5 this update was indeed stuck, but should be working again now.

Sorry if I missed it but I have a question on report times on the BPR5 vrs the BPR4G.
Will try and pull a WU number after I find it but during my testing on my Nvidia TITAN I noticed a 11-12day report by for the BPR5 and only a seven day report by for the BPR4G.

Am I incorrect with this?
No, deadlines are indeed different between BRP4 and BRP5, because we want to keep the opportunity to run BRP4 tasks on CPU app versions, too, without getting into deadline troubles.

Appreciate the info, I did not realize that the GPU and CPU WU's were tied together under that same application. I was under the erroneous assumption they were separated like the Binary Radio Pulsar Search.
I guess my question is now are GPU WU's paired with a CPU WU wing man? Currently checking my own results to see if I see a large discrepancy in times but it might take a bit.
Working through my valid WU's and reading through the topic shows some opencl WU's but it seems they are all being processed by GPU's.
Reading through the topic I'm seeing that there is mention of no cpu WU's for this application but the posts I see this in are from last year. I was trying to set up a stockpile of work for the GPU during lunch but only managed 76 before the manager only started asking for CPU WU's only.
My profile is set to accept both GPU and CPU WU's for this project. When the Boinc manager askes for CPU work on BPR5's it tells me no WU's avalible.

OpenCL tasks are GPU only, technically they should be able to run on CPUs but here at Einstein it's GPU only.

These are the different active searches as of this post and what resources that can process tasks for them:
FGRP4 or Gamma-ray pulsar search #4 = CPU only, might be a GPU app in the future
BRP4 or Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo) = As Bernd said it's for slower platforms, e.g. Intel GPU, CPU, Raspberry PI, Android etc.
BRP4G or Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Arecibo, GPU) = Bundles of 16 BRP4 tasks for GPU only
BRP5 or Binary Radio Pulsar Search (Perseus Arm Survey) = GPU only
Gravity wave S6CasA and the new search to follow = mainly CPU but probably GPU app to follow sometime after launch.
FGRP3 or Gamma-ray pulsar search #3 is winding down and will soon be done but has/had both CPU and GPU app.

Boinc is designed to fill the cache for the fastest resource first. When it reached 76 GPU tasks it must have thought that the GPU cache was topped up and then proceeded to fill the CPU cache. To get more GPU work, up the cache settings but please do take into consideration that this is a really stable project with little to none downtime and a big cache only needlessly increases the turnaround time for the work forcing your wingmates to wait for validation of the work and credit.

Nothing strange there as BRP5 is GPU only.

Hallo tbret!
The usual rate of update is 5 minutes, and it works at me fine.
Kind regards and happy crunching
