I certainly haven't seen those Galax cards here in Australia. Can't see any when I google them so maybe they haven't been released yet?

I've had plenty of blower style cards (Got a faulty Vega 56 sitting right in front of me which is a blower style!) I agree that they are good for removing hot air from the case but they can be a bit noisy at full speed.

The last two blower type rtx 3080 ti's I got from Canada were both noisy and I had to re-paste the thermal paste  to get the temperatures down to below the 90's.

I have found the Titan V turbo cards to be MUCH quieter.  But they are not rtx 3080 ti class cards either.

these are clearly vents. the bottom one is vaguely the shape of an RJ45 connector (RJ47 is not a thing, it's 45) but the size alone should make it evident that it's not that.

There you go, that's what I couldn't make happen, thank you for clarifying the picture and my thoughts

Based on the photo of the flange end is this rtx 4090 actually a two slot?

Unfortunately the price is stratospheric. But it is still lower than a $6000-$8000 two slot pro card.

Ah, but a 4 GPU rig able to approach 20M. :)

yes it's 2-slot. price is

yes it's 2-slot.

price is high because it's the only 4090 that can fit in a server (standard 3U height, 2-slot wide, front facing power connector). high demand for this kind of form factor for AI/ML uses.

Wow.... never seen one of those before!

Yeah that price is insane. AUD$4000! AND.... it's a 4090 - D so slower than a 4090.

Your 4090-D mentioned a lower count but the specs have a much higher number. So I suspect it is not the D version.

the one you linked is the normal full 4090.

the same seller however is selling the 4090D version also (lower price, lower core count)
